Nice looking motor for that sort of money -why so cheap?
thanks defo going to look into it, are you going?
fitted my paper towel holder -
also bought a new battery £10 brand new to use as an AUX battery,
also was tighting my steering box up to take some of the slack, found a random cable tied to the intake any ideas??
also went up then down a steep grass hill and the towball dug into the ground and brought some turf home so to prevent this i was gonna remove the tow ball but the bottom support arms looks like they are welded onto the chassis?????
how do i remove the towball?
thanks
The pipe you are talking about is the vacuum hose for the EGR valve - now removed. If it has been blocked up leave it alone, if it hasn't it should be bunged up.
The towbar comes off easily by removing the large pin. The towbar mounting bracket has an array of nut and bolt fixings to be removed.
Not been on for a while due to moving house, waiting on broadband, snow and pup....
anyway back to car due to sun being back out...
Mot due on monday so thats at the top of my list..
was out in the snow playing about as you do in a 4x4
i then ended up with the 3 amigos coming on every now and again so sorting that is at the top of the list..
first was to check wheel bearings so have jacked up all 4 wheels and only found play with the drivers front, but only left to right not up and down??
i thought you had play in every direction if it was a wheel bearing??
its not the track rod ends as there is no slack at all from them
also less than a week ago i have had misfiring at about 2.5-3k revs only under load so had a look at the vacuum hooses and found this one loose?? any ideas??
anyway carpeted the rear door to stop crap building up on the mdf..,
thanks
