Salisbury plane offroading routes

Hi All,

I'd like to go down to Salisbury plane this weekend for a bit of offroading.

Can anyone recommend any routes or the best areas to go to?

(got a 2001 defender)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your better off puttin ya name down on a trip in the green lanin section. :D There is one for the plains at the moment but dont know the dates :D
 
I will probably be getting down that way again in the next few weeks so keep an eye on Greenlaning section.

WLM knows the plains like the back of his hand and gets down their alot.

There are so many byways down their that you don't really need routes just a map and good reading skills, or just cheat like me and do it all electronically !

Don't whatever you do go their on your own as there are lots of places you can get stuck !

The plains are a good place to go and cut your teeth laining. There are plenty of trips out on the plain just keep an eye on the green laining section.

Defo wanting to go out there again in the next few weeks.

But it is not an off road sight. Do not go of the lains there and the wordons will report you
next thing you known mod plod will turn up and ask for your keys.

And as has been said do not go alone chances are you will get stuck.
