yep, the steam was just from all the water soaked into the bonnet insulation running onto the rad. It stopped not long after and when I lifted the bonnet this morning it was still soaking under there in places despite the run home. Some of the fixings from the insulation have gone so I'll have to get in there and fix it back up soon. I checked the water level and it hasn't used any at all so definitely not lost any.
Anyway, I didn't take many pictures and those were mostly of my lad stamping in the icey puddles! Did anyone take any pics of me stuck? My lad Miles had a great time and hasn't stopped talking about it!

if I can get me series starter with me new starter handle i'll be out for a shakedown run on sunday.Thinking of doing the ox drove just west o salisbury for a few hours

That picture number five is th eonly one I don't recognise from our trip down about 18 months ago - where abouts is that one then?
