if anyone wants to at the end of the day I always pop to the polaks at the bottom of my road they jetwash yr landy for £10/£12 so u can park up at home all clean again,and believe me the sp mud sets bloomin hard if u leave it a few days
Sounds a good idea to me.
One of my previous trips along the A303 by Stonehenge did not go so well a few years back and we made the Sun news and radio and magazines as the word spread of a Dalek crashing on the Salisbury Plains. I think they all expected a space ship though not a Freelander!

do any of us know you?
Found the problem, fitted a silicone hose set and new fuel filter and still the same.
Took it for a run and no power and started to overheat! So I cut through my nice new snorkel pipe and problem cured back to full power. I must have got excess tiger seal in my pipe join as I wanted to make sure it was watertight.
So will still make it but will have to watch what I try to tackle water & mud wise.

Cor that was lucky.
Nearly had a man down. I've had an oil leak for ages.
After chucking all the rubbish out of the foot-wells, I decided to check the oil and water and stuff.
Got to thinking that the oil-leak was coming from the rocker cover.
Got the spanners out, and bloody sheared the middle rocker cover bolt!
A shed-load of RTV sealant later, we're cool. (Thank Christ)
Still got an oil leak though, but I'm too scared to touch anything else!
