well can anyone give me an idea where is best to join the plain? really fancy a look up the hills on the left as you leave tidworth towards salisbury.

you should go other side on A 342 just opposite the pub at charlton St Peter near Uphavon now that be a good place to start from, wot you reckon Wiltshire Landyman

yeh thats ok..depends where ya comin from as to where ya start..
theres some good starts on the a303 just past winterbourne stoke..nicely deep water sections there

not sure i know winterbourne stoke. drive through winterbourne gunner daily, guessing its near there? which direction?

nope nowhere near there..
winterbourne stoke is approx 4 or 5 miles past stonehenge on the a303 heading towards exeter

when you come thru wbs be carefull theres a speed camera at the bottom of the hill..carry on you then come to a dual carriageway,as the dual cw starts immediately get in the right hand lane approx 500yds theres a break in the centre barrier where you cross the other side of the dcw..here lies the start of some nice lanes

cheers wlm. ill have to check them out then. are any off you lot up there any time soon? gotta track down why she is overheating first so probly wont be ready untill next weekend.

my landy wont be finished for a couple of weeks yet..

dont worry im feel like i will never get to drive mine at the mo. got my modulars today tho so hoping that'll atleast sort the tyre foulin problem. then its just another 15 pages of problems and she will be done. what you doing to yours then??
