no probs....most stuff can be driven around if your worried about water, the mud unfortunately you cant drive around.
a standard disco will cope well with most stuff anyway...if you get stuck im sure most will assist in recovery..

The common sense approach of 'if in doubt, don't do it' approach works well, particularly if like me you have spark plugs;)
I suspect the usual mud and watering holes will be particularly deep as the ground is saturated and the rainfall is running straight off to the lowest points, hope you all have fun, shame it's my busiest time of year or else I might have popped along.:)

MOT retest booked for tomorrow - done the bits and pieces this weekend so if (when!) it passes, I'm there....
Bloody hope it does, spent the hole weekend welding up the ever increasing holes!

As for the plan for the day, I'm happy to follow anyone around. I've been to the plain numerous times but don't know the best bits or any good routes. I'm just chuffed I can come out with you lads, should be a good day!

Thats good, i should be along then, just concoius of the fact its a petrol and has a cone filter just off the inlet manifold so any sort of deep water will see it being broken.

If you can take people mocking you for shandying out of some of the wetter stuff then you'll be fine! hehe.

If I see anything too hardcore for mine, I'll be finding the easy way round...... :)

i think we need to get confirmed numbers towards the end of next week

we then all need to decide whether we head out in two groups or one

so whats the opinion of you guys one group or two?

as for the start place some pepes will meet at my gaff and we will then head to the bustard inn this is just outside larkhill and there is a large layby just of the main road where we can gather and then head out from there

opinions/suggestions on how we arrange the the day ?
if the general opinion is one group thats cool.
or two groups i will be looking for a volunteer to head the 2nd group, and then maybe swap over after lunch?

DEFFO need two or maybe three groups fella. That's a BIG list ....

think two may be 3 groups is best idea happy to go with the flow! what sort of time we looking at? we using cb's to keep in touch?
