Has anyone ever fitted a Disco Safari Snorkel to a Series 1 Td4 freelander...?

I'm considering a slight bend to the upper inclined section if required, has anyone done this and if so any photos,

I can't see the point, when a proper fitting raised intake kit is available from muddy mods. https://www.muddymods.com/collections/freelander-1/products/snorkel-td4-2-0-and-v6-2-5

Vehicle will float before air intake is reached - then it is 0 wheel drive !!!!
