if you line it up with the wing the round inlet on the snorkel pipe that goes through the wing will be right infront of washer bottle if its non abs,the abs one is longer because the abs unit sits infront of washer bottle so has to be longer to miss it,havent got a pic yet as its dark outside ..
I bought a snorkal not knowing there was different types and need to no before cutting my wing if I have the right snorkal.
Ye that's what's making me think shall I f### it all off

200 tdi has a round airbox which goes into the wing and snorkel connects direct tot he air box.
300tdi has a square airbox with the inlet near the headlamp assemby if fiting a safari to a 300 you need a adaptor piece. which is square and fastens to the side of the filterbox (after you've cut an hole in filter box) and then sweeps round the front of the airfilter box and between the washer bottle and filter housing, to meet up with the snorkel. As has been said the Abs pump sits in the way if you have a non abs snorkel you also have to drill a hole in the inner wing on a 300 whereas the 200tdi already has the hole.

My understanding is that an abs snorkel will fit either vehicle (abs or not) but a non abs snorkel will only fit non abs vehicles.
So if you have a non abs vehicle you a ok. If you have abs then call a shop and ask what the dimensions are and you will have your answers.
