zen has exhausted the uk supplies of lt85's so what box do they use?
oh..be carefull about how you do this project if using 72 motor..you need to keep alot of it original,no cutting welding bits too the chassis, make it all boltable, keep original axles(just the casings will do) keep original rangie type suspension etc..cos otherwise vosa can take your lovely age related plate (cheap insurance/zero tax) away and give you a q plate.ahhhhhh..
i know its a pain, but totally possible as i have done it..real pain that i cant just go and install nissan patrol running gear, gearbox an all,so much better and it fits, but cant do as lose too many vosa points..pooh..
apple, how much is the zulu conversion?

proberly not the p38, as the transferbox wont fit without mods...(but it could be ..)
to tell you the truth the engineering bits are easy..the sourcing the spare parts to make your 2 door as good as new is the bugger...you will need new door, window etc seals..no hope of finding them, its the silly little bits that are impossible to find..
fit the p38 seats...so much better than any of the classic seats..and they come in cream..
so you buy an old RRC and pay em £38k+ to do it up and your worried about road tax
tell me you mean £3800 and I might think about it
lr series might be able to help with the seals.
I tried lr series with no luck but they are on ebay for £50, new old stock!!!
No sure if I would be 38k bothered about a number plate but each to there owns
Plus its nice not paying the govt anything
