s3 1978 instrument panal

hi guys I've just bought a nice 1978 S3 and am a little rusty on the instrument panel controls, I last had a series landy 20 years ago!
I have a white light on the panel that is mostly on but flickers,can anyone remind me what this is and should I be worried that's it's on!!!

i think ive sussed it, seems like its a low feul light! filled up yesterday and its off now!

fuel light? thats posh. mines a 74 model and its empty when it reads a quarter full. A fuel light sounds very modern. i like that.
