S10 differential indentify

I have a 80's S10 differential whole axle I can t find the axle code info
and gear ratio, given to me.
code-GAH K 111 2
differential- GM 8 K ? 8" GM canada
Gm#=14030352

Hey Steven, I couldn't find that code in my books either, but mine start
in 91 and go up.
All s10's have 7.5 or 7 5/8 inch rear ends.
Most of the later model Blazers have the bigger 28 spline 1 1/8" axles
as opposed to the older 26 spline 1" axles.
They also have posi units in some.
Just take the cover off the back and count the teeth.
