what engine has your truck got ?prop balance isnt normally an issue ,but alignment is (both yokes can be altered or put wrong when prop is split at spline )

Not sure if this is correct, but I read that front prop should be phased 30 degrees and the rear should be in phase is that correct?

many aftermarket propshafts are not phased correctly for LR's

this may sound daft but if it was ok on someone elses landy would it not be ok on mine? im all confused with this phasing stuff, how do i sort it myself bearing in mind im sort of novice with stuff

The prop may have come apart at the splines when swapping and pushed back together without checking, or knowing! Easily done, it looks like they should go back in-line and many people do that, but it is normally wrong. See what I said earlier ..

Another thought may be that the rattling could be the diff bearing or seal mudshield .. indeed it could be almost anything and not related to the prop swap at all, just coincidental! I'd check things like stone guards round discs, bushes, pads fitted correctly and with a dab of grease on the backs, loose exhaust flange etc etc ...

ok cheers will get someone to look at the prop, my squeek sounds to me like its coming from the top of the spring on the drivers side, ive pulled poked n tried to jiggle stuff to see what could be loose, what i would really like is a garage with a ramp, but that aint happening cos i dont have a garage lol oh to dream!!
