How easy to remove if battery access is required?, I keep thinking about getting some.

Cheers
The base is held to the seat frame with four bolts, you can do away with the rear two and just use the front two so you can remove it when fitted and get to the battery more easily

It's no different with the factory fitted Exmoor Trim seats I've got, 4 bolts holding the seat down. Bit of a pain, just added an anderson plug to the front of the seat box in case I need to charge it etc

Somebody I know just bought a 57 plate RX8 (that actually works well) and in good condition, 12 months MOT, £500
Unbelievable car for the money. Costs more to tax it....

Are you meaning keep the seat bolted down but able to lift the base up a bit like a standard LR seat?

Youtube video by any chance? Just watched the exact same scenario, guy bought a £500 RX8 on a 57 plate. He got an MGB and a Cobra too?

Yes. Do away with the rear bolts holding the seat squab on and you can use the front two to hold it in place and you can get to them when the seats are bolted in. Personally I'd probably make some studs or hooks out of longer bolts with the heads cut off just to locate the rear into the holes the bolts used to go through.
