Hi Guys
What’s the best way to repair the galvanised capping on an old Series?

1. Strip it off and re-galvanise it?
2. Paint it silver? If so which paint is best?
3. Buy new capping? (if I can find some)
4. Ignore it and hope it doesn’t get any worse?
5. Any other really clever methods?

I used plain old aluminium paint, a couple of quid a tin.

you can actuaslly get gavanizing in an aerosol. i know its not the real thing but i think its meant to look like galv. but like wes said a tin of aluminium paint or hammerite will do the job
