Here's a review of my old set of tyres before I upgraded to Cooper STT's (did a review of those too):
First of all, if you didn't know already, the Enduro A/T tyres are a budget all terrain tyre. However unlike many others in this price range they are not a retread. When I first got my Land Rover these tyres seemed like a good choice considering the money and type of driving at the time.
On the road:
On the tarmac, these tyres are fairly quiet and handle relatively well in all conditions from snow to wet roads. So here, they get a good overall score from me - nothing amazing but they certainly do the job. Under braking and cornering they seem to provide ample grip in most conditions. Their weakest surface would probably be ice and compacted snow but lets face it unless you've got winter or studded tyres on, most struggle here.
Off road:
Here is where I have been truly amazed by these tyres. I would always air them down to about 20psi to get maximum use out of them. I mean of course they are not going to be as good as an aired down mud tyre but you wont believe the places they've found traction in and pulled me through. I've been to pay and plays on dry, wet and snowy days and they seemed just about as happy in all of them.
Although I've come very close alot of the time, I have only ever gotten stuck twice with these tyres and that was taking on some muddy water pits where the truck bottomed out as they were not tall enough (31/10.5/r15). In other situations where the tyres have struggled to grip, I kicked the revs up and they always seemed to just about pull through.
Other considerations:
In terms of wear, they seem to last pretty well and having being a cheap tyre they have a reasonably good rip/chip resistant rubber compound. They don't look to bad for an AT either.
Conclusion:
For a cheap tyre. I cannot praise these enough. If you're looking for a budget all terrain tyre that's going to last and keep up to the demands of occasional off-roading or green laning - these are your best bet. Always remember, you're tyre is only as good as your pressure!
