Hi Charlotte
You certainly present a good read, its a while since I read something so invigorating
.However, onward.
The customs, Im curious, I have been led to believe that if you use red diesel in the tank the customs can tell as the dye leaves a stain in the tank, if I was to use the red for off road use only would this still be an offence, if staining the tank, were to be true I would have a problem, they could say it was being used on the highway, Hmm!
The conversion is to combat the difference in viscosity and to inhibit the glycerine from crystallising, thats your field, and then there is the larger fuel pipe and the injectors for the higher pressure needed, again your field, the tank in the back garden would not be an issue, there are many properties that have oil tanks up to 1,500 gal, this is for the oil central heating boilers, although in the early sixties some plonker decided the best place for these was in the garage at the back, bloody architects, draw a line and the think they are the elite, yes I hate them, if I get a headache theres one of them around, sorry Im digressing, yes, Im here again.
Now young lady, sorry, do not mean to be condescending, youve got my attention
Diesel, run on LPG, your kidding, I thought this was for petrol only, it needs a spark to blow it up, yes, no! Gota give me more info on this, pretty please?
I understand you drive a beast, the V 8 nesting under the hood sounds, well its a V 8, it speaks for itself, although, when we talk about diesels, in the range rover we are now going forward to commercial and, as I believe, this is were the power is and yes the are a bit noisy, I would have thought that, not knowing much about the rangy they would do a diesel auto.
Do not do much TV myself, can not stand Jeremy Clarkson, irritates the hell out of me, although I was told he did a programme some time ago where he had an AA engineer to run a diesel with veggie oil.
Norm.
