I have fitted the repaired cylinder head.

Whilst I was doing this work I also removed the EGR valve (EU3. 2 pipes which I have blanked off)

Now the engine starts with difficulty - runs for a min or so and then stops.

It sometimes kicks when I try to start it (like a petrol engine would do when the ignition timing it out).

I am running out of ideas of what to try next...any ideas most welcome.:confused2:

Have you blanked the vacuum pipes? Not sure if yours is exactly the same as mine but here's the instructions that came with mine:

@Headtester thanks for your response....and yes I have done this although I couldn't blank them at the module and had to blank them at the EGR end.

Are you sure you have the camshaft timing correct?

@Nigel1943 I am pretty certain that it is correct. I used two timing pins. Thank you
But will try it again just to be sure.
