OK, I've been looking at my father in laws Freelander, V6 2.5, which needed the thermostat changing..... Did this, seemed a bit of an involved job but it's all back together now....
The issue I have is getting the car started. During the thermostat change I needed to disconnect the battery and now I have three issues:
1) Radio will not come on, regardless of how long I push the power button
2) Automatic gearbox doesn't show the current gear on the dashboard
3) Engine will not turn over
My thoughts are a fuse, connection, feed, is being a bit sticky but I can't find anything off or blown. I've been reading everything I can find and getting no-where fast.
I just wanted to know if there is a known set of things you need to do following a reconnect of the battery that could solve this issue.
Any and all help apreciated as I'm begining to loose my mind over this now, everything checks out with my multimeter but it still will not turn over.....
Thanks in advance...
