Tuning diesels is great cos its not easy to blow them up - OK I manage now and then but it doesnt put me off. Just for the ecord I used to own Hargate Racing, specialising in cylinder head mods for saloon car racers and the odd rally job.

Must admit - my L series goes like stink too. Chipped, De-catted, Boosted up (an ickle bit but nothing mad), EGR blanked off, performance intercooler and a K&N. Not into driving fast but like the feeling of being pushed into my seat when I blip my right foot. So much smoother and more fun to drive too. Thanks for the info Nije - very informative. Let me get this right though - the engine oil was comming from the turbo bearings and being drawn into the inlet and powering the engine? Wow...now thats f*cked up!
