my local asda has been doin 3 litre bottles off 100% rapeseed for £2.97 works out 99p a litre still beats the £1.32.9 the bp charges me

My answer would be that the transvbkbfgkdbgf process is used to split the parts that make veg oil. The lye and methanol are mixed with the oil depending on how contaminated the oil is. if you use new oil then 3 grams of lye per litre and 20% overal mix is methanol is all you need. The rougher the oil the more lye you require.

the by product is the seperated glycerine and can be composted. The raw bio diesel that is left ideadlly needs to be dry filtered through something like Amberlite. once this is done its good to go. just remeber to change you filters after 1000k Miles as it will dislodge all the ****e in the fuel system.

Do not take chances with filters and pay extra for genuine. At least if the filters are naff you have some come back. Hoowaa Fong specials you have no chance!! You have been warned.

300 tdi's and older love bio but td5's need good clean bio and never go stronger than a 50/50 mix with mineral diesel until you are happy and buy some winter fuel addidtive if you are worried in the winter.

Speak to GreenFuels Ltd. Europe's largest Biodiesel equipment supplier or Pure Fuels Ltd - London's Biodiesel Company if you need more info.

If you can get as much wvo as you want you wanna start sellin it.
Strike a deal with a bio producer for discount on what you buy.
Go for the small businesses though ideally.

Ditto ;)

If you are in the West Midlands area then I will help you recycle it, I am in the process of setting up a filtering system in my garage, with a fuel pumping system attached.

From small acorns big oak trees grow, anybody else have access to oil???

I am stock piling in South Wales if anyone has a source. Once my machine arrives i will turn it to diesel for you for a small fee.

Just been in my local Netto. They have got 100% sunflower oil for about £1.20 litre but they have got some cheaper stuff , just says vegetable oil on it ,one litre bottles 98 pence.Looked at ingredients and it says 100% veg oil .No additives .Anyone know what they make the stuff from ? Is it ok to stick in the tank?Only trouble is sign says "only six bottles per customer" so you will have to make several trips wearing a different disguise each time. :D

You my have to watch the water content if you use used cooking oil but if your the chef then you must know how much it has been used . Not as much as most chip shops I expect
