run out of diesel

bought a 51 reg td4 today and like an idiot i run out of diesel before i d even got home!! it started pretty much straight away when i put some in but didn t want to an hour later.been told it might need bleeding. as you can probably tell i m definately no mechanic!! can anyone help me out with some info please ? cheers

it should have a self bleed system on it, just make sure you have put plenty in
