@gold rover Range Rover Sport (RRS) Range Rover Full Fat (RRFF) common reference.

J
Yep , because I need the acronyms explained to me. Especially by people who have got it wrong!!
tenor (8).gif

For future reference, it is , FFRR, Full Fat Range Rover . Hence the website of the same name. Thanks for trying though

Ok @gold rover you win. I would bow to your knowledge but don’t have an emoji
But ( you knew it was coming)
I have a Range Rover,FF comes after. Please do not think I have anything to do with any other site.
But some peeps think they buy a sport and they own a real 1.
Not getting at any sport owners but there is a huge difference between the two vehicles.
I consider our choice of Land Rover vehicles as very broad.

And if you consider I got it wrong then excuse me it’s called a Land Rover , Range Rover, first.
Never seen “ buy a Full Fat range rover “ in any advert yet.

J:oops:

Ok quite a lot of that just seems garbled but as you obviously feel offended by it being pointed out, quite gently at first, the 'common usage'( your wording ) is FFRR not RRFF, have a pressie on me
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=FFRR
Enjoy because I certainly am.

@gold rover
I own a Range Rover, or 4
It was never referred to as fat or even full fat, till the baby came along why should I bow down when I have a real 1?
And prefer to refer to it as a proper RR rather than what the plebs on another site want to think they have?
I own a RR maybe they own a SRR ( skinny Range Rover)

You were the first to refer to the RR as being full fat (not me).
I have skinned many a knuckle on these beasts, have I learnt anything, I guess that’s debatable?

In your eyes obviously not:oops:

Yet another garbled post. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and not blame drink. . Perhaps , tomorrow, you should nip down the shops and see if they could sell you a sense of humour, you are going to do yourself a damage being so angry and uptight.
I have far more important things going on in the real world to be bothered with an online, angry little man, , who has no idea what half the conversation is about, and means less than the total sum of zero to me. When I click the button you are gone into the ether.
I think our interaction, short though It has been, has reached its conclusion. I would wish you luck, but I would be lying.

Please don’t think a RRS is a RRFF.
Owning ,vogue 2001,Autobiography 1996,and 2011 L322 Vogue,Inside is pretty much same spec (barring the 322.no San nav in autobiography). In fact autobiography may have more outside color coordination options, of course the 322 has more heat and cool on seats. Bla,bla,
As has been said options ordered, make a huge difference to what you get with the same badge (dual screen tv even in the 322)
Do your research decide what you want and then search for it. It is all a personal choice and how much money you can afford. Then comes the possible maintenance costs, your choice, your wallet.

I don’t actually see any wrong info here. Except of course my poor reference to RRFF( in your book)
Push the button I don’t have a problem. Drink not yet but think I may need 1 now.
As far as a sense of humor if you are trying to tell me you were being light about it there is a little box up there^
That can do this :)

Now I'm thinking older FFRR HSE or Vogue (BMW electrics) with or without heated stearing wheel and basic stereo and hopefully changing the headunit out for my spare double din iPhone unit. Oh and a box of headache tablets.

Maybe I should have also asked who has the best sense of humour RRFF sorry FFRR or Disco :D
Ive had a Disco, it was very much a one liner sense of humour, whilst the Golden Girl has given me a whole new outlook on what's funny.
Like sitting on the side of the road , thinking 'thats funny, I did this last week ,too' or 'whats that funny noise'

I've had a few funny noises out of my Disco, the funniest being me saying "Bloody hell someones using a big Jack hammer and realising the sproket had come off my oil pump"

Help with Tax.

Ok so I have found a 2005 plate FFRR :):) problem is both his and mine are on a private plate and the tax is non transerable, as you need the log book in your name with the correct number plate how do you tax it.
Anyone have any ideas please?

BTW it is a private sale and he is taking mine as part ex

Should have said we both want to keep our own plates (sorry)
If you are keeping your number when you sell the car you have to reregister the car back to it's original number so the suppliment will have the wrong reg until the new V5 arrives. Once the new V5 arrives the new owner can tax it with the suppliment.
To get round this I am thinking I may be able to buy the car with the private plate, the plate then belongs to me and when we both have our new V5's we can swap the numbers back.

The current owner needs to take his plate off before the V5 is sent. Otherwise the plate is yours to keep. And vice versa. So you both need to take paperwork to local DVLA office , take your plate off, then put it back when vehicles exchanged. Or allow him to have your plate and vice versa. Doesnt matter if they're not worth much, but if one has a more valuable plate then ............

There is some interesting snippets on the .gov website about driving the vehicle whilst transferring the numbers.
