Just found this video, exact same issues as this bloke. Really informative video to follow to diagnose; however, I think with all the fiddling with the TMC I’m just getting the bloody Range Rover solid screen and flashing red light…so now I’ll have to wait to get the new unit to then do what he did in the video.

Yeah the screen works etc and can see sat nav etc, all works and buttons bleep.

I did the Bluetooth module disconnection and made the two MOST cables point at each other, it was successful in the effort of bypassing the Bluetooth but there was still no audio.

I waggled and messed with the TMC radio receiver box, and saw the MOST red light beaming into it, however checked at the amp side and noticed there was no signal being sent into the amp, so I am guessing this unit is goosed; I have ordered a replacement, however I also tried the bypassing technique on this section, and managed to disconnect the TMC, keeping the infrared cable looped, it all worked etc back to how it was, aka no audio…

…really running out of ideas as to what it could be!
Perhaps you've gone deaf.:eek::D:D:oops:

Don’t know about deaf but I’m certainly losing my mind!

I bypassed the TMC (a replacement one is only £20 so I’ll just put that on when it comes)

I just did the MOST test like on the video and it too indicates the steering wheel button doesn’t have a signal, what’s the chances it could be that? The guy in the video doesn’t come to a conclusion

Congrats. You're deffo gonna need something to drown out the baby's crying :D
Looking at this it looks possible to narrow it down with the aid of a scope.
I have just had a chat with my local garage and they are happy to take a look at it for you so I'll PM you their details. They are a good bunch of landy eggspurts.

TMC is traffic master which is obsolete now I believe so you may be able to just bypass that

TMC is still being broadcast, it's part of the FM waveband. My 2008 FL2 still receives the TMC signal, and alerts of traffic congestion or road closure en route. ;)

I heard it once a few years ago in the L322 but have never had it since despite being stuck in many a traffic jam.
