I would rather have v8 but didnt find any honest review for this engine in sport model
The V8 petrol doesn't snap cranks like the V6 diesel does.

I was talking about v8 diesel
Also 4.4ltr diesel. You said 3.0L which is a V6 diesel. A V8 diesel is 3.6L and doesn't snap cranks, but suffers turbo and EGR failures instead.
Also 4.4ltr diesel.
Just saw the statement that the V8 was 3.6ltr. my eyes glaze over when I see Sport. Not sure they fitted that 1 in the Sport.

I don’t see the sense in that. At 70mph you have a mean average of 8 3/4 mph per gear. Seems a lot of faffing about unnecessarily

Unless of course you really want to “hooligan” it and use the sport mode+paddles as ^^^ , then
Fooled by marketing hype you nutters.
Sports mode - for when your 6.3 just isn’t enough
just realised this is a Disco 4 thread. Sorry.Yeah but no flappy paddles in that, and thanks must check the sports button next run out.

But, I don't care what @RangeRoller dt says,...... in the FFRR , the S mode, makes it go Brrmmm Brrmmmm bettererrrrrr. But even without it, just having the flappy paddles to drop a gear is sssoooooooooo much fun.
Cheers
No I believe the suggestion came up about the V8 and OP would have liked maybe a real RR
So we all waffled along and had a bit of chat. You know how things waffle on to fill in the time till OP comes back.
