sounds like a loose conection on the supply wire somewere mate...dave

or possibly a loose plug and socket????????just have to have a scout round see if you can anything,check all conections ect...dave

Check all earth connections at the clocks and at the BECM

Hi,
In the fuse box on the side of the drivers seat, check fuse number 1 (top left I think). It's a 10amp and has a picture of the speedo dial on the label on the lid for it.
I blew that fuse last week and it caused the rpm and speedo to read zero and the fuel gauge and temp gauge to jump around all over the show. Also made the mileage flicker on and off amongst a multitude of other issues. Thought it was serious and then discovered little old fuse number 1 had blown and caused it all !
There should be a spare 10amp in the fuse box centre row which you can swap for it, unless someone has already used it.
