RR 4.6 start problem

Alarm was triggerd, went to check, alarm was stopped when i arrived, the key could not start the engine, the starter worked but did not fire up the engine. Had the problem before when battery went dead, even with new battery engine would not turn on, all electricty worked but no engine running. What to do next? Have tried EKA code, have tried to mobilise teh keys in the door etc etc, no running engine. Don't tell me every tim ea battery goes dead I need to bring it to a garage, i prefer to solve a problem like that myself since i'm not driving everyday... who can help me with a trick to solve this, my garage is not so clever, at least they can't tell me anything i don't already know (and have tried)

Does the check engine lamp come on when you key on ?

Yep, all lamps work when key is in ignition, navigation works everything.. start engine runs. Immobiliser maybe keeps engine from firng?

No,its more likely the crank sensor if the CE lamp comes on when you key on - that tells me the BECM is moblised and the engine ecu recognises the security pulse from the BECM.Unless the plugs are wet,it should go - have the plugs out and see if there is a spark.

The dealer will pick it up tomorrow, let u know. ( they asked me to move the car some meters, maybe some radiation of an electric door could interfere or start the alarm... nothing helped)
