I had 1999 freelander 1.8K, after around 250KM of continues running and slowing down at check point when I apply brake the pedal goes way down (no resistance at all) and the rpm goes above 3000 rpm. After stop and pressing the brake pedal few times, everything back to normal. Should I be worry or anticipate some problem to come?

Remember to take foot of of gas peddle :eek:

Sounds like your slave or master cylinder is on it's way out and the servo is trying to compensate.

I would say it deems dangerous to continue driving as it is.
