If you look at the face of the cassete you will see a square cut out or window approx. 6-8mm square. when the internal part is rotated there is a white "Patch" that appears in the window.

To centre the rotary coupler, rotate the "Inner" gently clockwise until you feel it go tight then rotate in anti clockwise direction until you see the white "Patch" appear in the window. Make sure the road wheels are pointing straight ahead when you refit the coupler.

Thank u I did notice that part but I don't always trust my own judgment when it comes to mechanics, electrics etc

. I should know better , many years ago in the sixties I was working at a garage and it was coming up to lunch time .and we had the local farmer in with his tractor .and it needed a tyre on it so the tyre fitter changed the tyre .and then put the air hose on the blow the tyre up and went to lunch and then suddenly got up and said I better check that tyre . as he got up to the tyre and leaned of to look how much pressure was in the tyre
it exploded , the garage was shut down and the police had to go round to tell his wife he had been killed , so next time I do it as it should be done. but as you get old you think it will not happen.

I have played with airbags a few years ago......

Always set them off with a good length of speaker cable and a booster pack. You do get some spectacular results especially with passenger ones from big car like omegas etc... They are a lot bigger than drivers ones because they have more space to fill to work.

It does give you a rather healthy respect for them. I wouldn't like to be leaning across one when it goes off. I reckon that it could snap your neck if the angle was right/wrong.

Its quite ironic how something that is designed to and does save lives and lessen injury could also be so dangerous! Well I went out feeling all brave to change part and .... I don't have the right screwdriver!! So wont have time before work and its dark when i finsh so this could take a while
