Roof Rack Packing

Hi
im a little new so please bear with me. I have a owned a disco td5 for around 18 months now and love it. I have just bought a half size roof box / cage. We used it last week to go camping but the car felt a little top heavy. Can i please have some advice on packing and weight limits there were 7 of us plus kit am i going a little over the top

Does it not say in the manual ??

Failing that google it........ but

I think standard weight limit for roof boxes is 50kgs

I have a full size Front Runner Expedition Rack. I find that evenly spreading the weight is the best idea....

+1 on what goony said.

I regularly have to use a roof rack or roof box, never had any issue's with feeling top heavy as I make sure the load is balanced out. Only issue's I've come across is that the steering goes a bit vague on steep hill's, and wind drag over 55mph is more noticeable.

on my roof rack on the 90 all i have is the spare wheel and it feels different to drive, top end heavy, more body roll in corners
