It’s strange how things happen @Funkykipper. Last time I saw John was when we went to Wales last year. After the last lane Kirsty ejected the memory card from the dash cam and it fell down the back of the dash, never to be seen again.
Today it fell out whilst repairing the wiper mech. I will have a look through it tomorrow but no doubt there will be some good memories

John wasn’t impressed by the lane before the water crossing. I had no idea he didn’t like heights.

Yeah I remember that now, we met you after the crossing and he was still cursing, was a good view though. Great memories. I will get the card when I pick the Landy up tomorrow and see what I have.

Only just seen this thread. What horrible sad news. I very much hope his loved ones will pull together and remember those good times and funny memories.

I am lucky enough to have a memento - the photo of me head deep in my 90 on LZ12 (LZ11?) was a great shot by John. Remember the good times Heidi.

Finally got round to going through all the clips from the Dash Cam card that I found. Unfortunately I only had the last 2 hours of recording, a fair amount of which was on road and parked up waiting. Attached hopefully should be clips of the last lane and river crossing. The view on the first vid was a bit high for John's liking
