Teamwork as always! It's from all in the Forum and from the heart.
Your work was great Rosie, and as always Brian did the extra leg work.
A big thanks to all who contributed, it may not be a big thing to some but we're showing our respects our way.
Whenever there was any kind of Charity theme here James was in the mix somewhere. Fanny's random acts of kindness, the Bouncing Bakewell, chippy run etc and at every LZ event that I've been to. The least we could do is offer something back.
I only wish that I could be in the UK on Monday to show respect along with Piley Mints and BB.

time for reflection of our friend who has passed on and how positive his impact was in term of great company etc.

Rosie you've done a grand job on card.

The card is a truly lovely gesture, thank you to those involved in producing it.
It's a beautiful tribute to an exceptional character, looking at it gave a lump in my throat.

Rosie. ..saddened you never managed to receive a Freddy hug :(

I didn't go to any lz events without having at least one :) one moment I will remember. . Off road course at Bristol and West show last year Freddy and I walked up to take part.. he was getting out of breath easily so we took a slow walk up. .. we talked about life, landys, kids, cancer and he laughed like a fool but promised not to leave us until he was ready...

Off road course. .. I screamed like a bitch on certain parts of it and he found it hilarious. . But told me not to make him laugh cos he gets breathless. It was just freddy and I and I'm privileged that I spent some special time with him. :)

Going in summertime from porgy and bess
Lord of all hopefulness
Hark the herald angels ... (slightly different singin in april) but was sons choice.
Amazing grace
And to go out. .. going home.

Will be fondly remembered :)

I do have to add that the order of service was rather beautiful. .. as you can see from the picture. .. the background :)

Sounds like it was a good send off for him. His family must have been touched by you making the effort to go.

A beautiful service and the coming together of such a diverse group of people for a beautiful man.

Now normally the "Beautiful Man" bit would get me calling you a faggot- however it is nice to say what other's may feel isn't Macho.

For me I wish we had more time with James, however the time we did have he was the best of company and a true gentleman.

Good to hear that you guys attended and the service did Freddie justice.

I'm sure that background piccie on the order of service, of Freddie fording was from the Bouncing Bakewell bash.

Edit......

Not sure I'm impressed they blocked out my old disco with a piccie of Freddie, but I'm sure it would have made him laugh.
