The MOT failure for my 2003 TD4 Auto (Minor defect) was:-
Anti Roll Bar Linkage Ball Joint Dust Cover Severly deterioated Nearside and Off side front.
This morning I went and bought from JGS4X4 Freelander Mark1 Anti Roll Bar Link Rod Front x 2. Have I bought the right things and if so are they easy to fit?

Sounds like it. It should look like this.

They're easy to fit, but often removing the nuts on the old one is tricky.

Make sure both wheels are either on the ground or in the air when doing it. If you only jack up one wheel it will be under a lot of pressure.

Absolutely.

I must admit that I do them with the wheels on the ground, simply turning the steering right to do the RHS and left to do the LHS.
