how do certain insurance companies fail so completely with their websites? I don't mean the advertising or quoting side, its once you've paid for the insurance and have to then log in to view certificates etc. Admiral's 'portal' is a prime example of the abominably frustrating bastard awkwardness. You need to log in, (which I've only ever been able to once out of the dozen or so times I've tried to) to see your certificate or summary or any paperwork whatsoever (which I've never ever been able to) as they don't mail, let alone even email you one now. I wont renew with admiral for this reason.
Just bought insurance from another online insurance co, and their website just spits back a 504 proxy error whenever I try to do owt or view documents. next time it'll be on the phone and dealing with proper old fashioned paper I think.
anyone else find this increasing trend of website based witchcraft frustrating?
