Reverse Gear Trouble

icarsoft seems quite good for the money but i don't know if it can read individual transmission faults but i don't know if the other diagnostics devices do either

Well..... I took my l322 back to the person that reconditioned the box, McCruddens in Carterton. In all fairness he was surprised that it had only done 20k and agreed that he would do it as cheap as possible.
Turns out that the reverse piston had a bit broken off. So ;

Friction set
Steel set
Filter
Oil
Low reverse piston
& labour £1036.67

In my case I just towed 5.5 T of hardwood in a forward trajectory with panache, thanks for informing us that a blasted kerb will shear reverse gear and cost a 'bag o sand'
