Not as it stands but for a few pence more it could. I have chosen leds that are a compromise between night and day light

Top Job Paul and I eat my words about needless accessories now! I guess LandRovers are ripe for accessorising an any way and your rev counter is great!:)

I think that I should move my part in this thread to the “Land Rover Accessories & Parts for sale” as my latest idea an electronic adaptor to convert the signal from the TD5 ecu to a feed signal to drive a standard 4 cylinder coil driven rev counter has definite potential. My existing led rev counter is OK but to manufacture in small quantities with any incentive (profit) does not seem to be practical. The latest one could be cheaply made and would consist of a small plastic box with the electronics in with four connection 0 volts, +12 volts, input from TD5 ecu and output to the input of a standard rev counter that would normally be connected to the coil of a 4 cylinder engine
So please follow my thread “TD5 rev counter adaptor” in the “Land Rover Accessories & Parts for sale” section
Thank you all for your encouragement

How could I have missed this thread?
Just to let peeps know, all our TD5 extension cables now come with a take-off spur wire for driving a tachometer.

I've put a 0-4000 Durite marine rev-counter on my 200tdi Defender, goes onto the 'W' terminal on the alternator, works really well :D
