There's nothing like the feeling when a welding spark goes into your ear!
Ouch!!!!There's nothing like the feeling when a welding spark goes into your ear!
LOL - Aftermarket - yes, that sounds about right!!!OEM= built to original specifications
Genuine= Landrover ( quite often from the same factory as OEM)
Aftermarket= fit it, regret it, then buy OEM or originals.
Mike
I fitted two drive shafts from Eurocarparts to my lifted Freelander. They might have been OK on a standard car but on mine they wobbled like crazy. The car was almost undriveable. I returned them for GKN refurbed units and the problem was gone.LOL - Aftermarket - yes, that sounds about right!!!

Yes I did kick myself for penny pinching the first time as replacing them again was a lot of extra work.
Soooo.... back to VCU support bearings - genuine LR, GKN or what ever Rimmers reckons is "OEM"?
Sweet! I used the hot metal glue gun last time along with a bent 6 inch nail. Your way looks much easier.Today, I tackled that brocket exhaust bracket:
