I carried out a service the disco1 200TDI (following some very useful threads on here) and i noticed that the boost pipe just after the turbo begins circular and then kind of goes very thin and square as if it has been squeezed, this looks like a standard part but also looks very restrictive.
Is there a reason for this and would i be better replacing it with a completely round solid pipe?
