P38A Requires ECU

Iv been looking for a cheap P38 as a project and have seen a petrol with 120k on it been stood for a while but is in real good condition. Issue is it requires a new ECU. Now why I don’t know but before I make an offer what is involved in fitting a new one gents !!!
