Replacing the Heater/Water Control Valve.

I would be very grateful if someone could suggest the best way to remove the heater/water control valve on my Series III.

Erm....with a spanner. Seriously though....if its the one at the front of the block, remove cables then remove valve. bit of coolant will come out when you do it.

I’m trying to turn this anti-clockwise with a spanner. Is this wrong?

Thanks for the help; it isn’t behind the block and I’ve already disconnected hoses and cables

thats right but they can be tight and ali valve into that tube even tighter
