Replacing brake flexi hoses anyone?

Max. Give the whole lot a good wire brush and spray it with something like plus gas or wd40 in a pinch.
When you look at the top of the caliper the copper pipe has a long nut on the end of it. You need a spanner on this and on the nut on the other side of the bracket next to the flexi pipe. Hold the spanner on the flexi side still and try undoing the long nut on the copper side.
Just be careful the copper pipe doesn't start twisting otherwise it will twist off. The nut should be free to spin on the copper but because its a compression joint they tend to freeze together until you break the joint free. If it does start twisting (like all of mine did) you need to try to find something to hold it without squashing it, like a pair of small pliers with the circular cut out. I seemed to have a set that fit brake pipe perfect.
Once the long nut is undone you undo the next nut still holding the spanner still on the flexi side. Once thats off you can pull the threaded part of the flexi though the bracket. Repeat on the other end and bang the new one on in reverse order.
It's quite quick and easy to do as long as that long nut isn't frozen to the copper pipe.
The rears the same at the chassis joint. The other end into the T piece simply undoes. but you might need to hold onto the t piece with something if it's tight to prevent breaking the bracket.
Oh and put a plastic bag over the brake fluid reservoir and screw the cap back on. Helps keep a bit of fluid in there.

Just seen your pic. Hold green still. Undo red. Undo the next one under red. Flexi will be free.
Oh and to make it even easier. if you're going to bin your flexis you can cut the flexi right off so that you can get a proper socket of ring spanner on the green side.

Yeah it was a learning curve for me with some of my 1st few bangers I had. Every one seemed to need brake hoses. Or my MOT man had some sort of affliction with them.
