Hi all,
I've just received two replacement wing mirror glass units for my 02' Vogue. Showing my lack of knowledge i now know that my car has an auto dim function thanks to reading a couple of threads posted here.
My question is can i use these cheaper replacements until i either source non damaged 2nd hand units or get rinsed by a LR dealership for originals. The new mirrors have heating and fit perfectly, I have just hid the extra plug behind the glass. (should i tape these up to stop dirt and moisture ingress?) I also see that an early BMW X5 wing mirror glass fits but they appear to be just as expensive 2nd hand. I look forward to your comments on this.
