Replacement hippo mirrors ?

HI Guys, Gals , and all ,
Havn't been on for a bit so hope all r well.
Still got the old hippo x reg 2ltr tdx and living in our narrow road keep losing mirrors to vans and stuff as ours wont fold in as standard.
Any of you techies know if any later fold in ones from other models will fit and which bits will i need. have asked at Lr but get , sorry mate dunno if we get a call back at all !!
Some body must know,
help ! Please

its either new mirrors or feed the kids,

i should think they'll fit!

nowt really different about them except the abillity to fold!

You can pick new ones up for £60-£75 on eBay. It's a simple swap. They are beasically compatible but you need to enlarge one of the fixing holes on the outside skin of the door - IIRC need a 13mm drill bit.

Drilling is the easy part, and it is 13mm.

The mirror mounts with small screws that screw into small plastic hollow tubes.

You will also need to investigate the two large bolts (IIRC torx type) that secure the mirror to the door frame. I think the location changed on the later mirrors. I simply used some larger washers when fitting mine.
