So the other day I had cause to remove the £*£*£*£*£*££*£*£*£*£*£. Twas then that I found a random plug socket. It was only after that I realised that it was probably for the Alarm that quite plainly wasn't bloody there!!!
The central locking still works and the lights flash nicely but that's about it:mad::mad::mad:.
So, anyone got any recomendations for an alarm / immobiliser that will actually work.
Ideally I'd like something that would cause serious injury to any light fingered ****e that wanted to pinch it but I guess I'll have to settle for something legal and that works:p

You sure your car aint stolen?
Might be worth editing the location of the plug, I am sure the tealeafs know, but no point making the info openly available:)

As for the alarm, pls do not rely on an alarm alone, you need several layers, steering wheel cover/lock widget. hidden run switches, handbrake lock, pedal lock cover etc etc

Edited lol.
Pretty sure it ain't pinched, done plenty of history checks an the like before I brought it and managed to export it OK.
Got other security stuff, was one of the first things I did. I was always planning on an alarm upgrade but this has just been bumped to top of the to do list.
If you ask any of the retailers, theirs is always the best, this is just to get some perspective on whats available out there:)

For me, alarms rely on someone hearing the bleddy thing going off and checking to see if its 'real' or not. Rarely happen's unless you hear your own vehicle alarm.
Some form of tracker would be my preference together with mechanical devices and a simple 'hidden' isolation switch.

One tip I got told years ago was to fit the siren in the cab, as no one outside will care if its going off!
