Hello all, could anyone help please? I've search this forum and other forums without luck.

I've snapped off my aerial, below the whip, so I have to replace the base. The XUC500150 base on mine is no longer available in this or other any other country. The part has been superseded by XUC100832, but it's a slightly different shape (rounded at the front, not square) so the rubber base doesn't fit underneath it. I can't find a rubber base for the new part either! I'm sure the headlining will get wet without one, so I'm not doing that. Any help much appreciated!

I just used a rear roof mount ariel from Halfords on mine. Fits perfectly. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. LR Direct have sold out - you must have had the last one Nodge68. That looks good if I can't find one JC600. I'll try the scrap yard first, thanks GrumpyGel. I don't like those online scrap yard things, you get so many emails offering you stuff you didn't ask for. I'll have to put some miles in! Thanks again!

If I remember correctly, Rover 25/45 or MG ZR/ZS have the same ariel base. :)

Do yourself a favour and get a digital radio with a windscreen aerial. You can listen to BBC6 music then :)

That only works properly if there isn't a heated front screen fitted. Or you live in Cornwall, where mobile DAB is pointless.
