I have replaced the front offside ABS sensor on my 02 Discovery TD5 due to the wire being damaged.

Still got the 3 amigos, do I need to have them reset on a diagnostic tool or should they have been reset by the self test function when turning the ignition on?

IF there's no other problem and you fixed an ABS sensor related fault the warning must go away after you exceed 9.4mph without tester involved, see attachment, last paragraph if you dont believe me;)

There's possibly another fault still then, as I have taken the car for a run a couple of times since.

or there was an intermittent fault which is considered permannent by the ECU and after you clear it the lamps will stay off...anyway you have to hook to diagnostics to make sure

make sure you remember well the stored faults before they clear them cos it's possible that the lamps will come on again after a while...it used to happen with SVS failure
