The door bottoms on my 90 are corroded, knew about this when I bought it, but didn’t bother me, as I see it as a way of mud not getting trapped there..

anyway, was looking around for repair sections as I could weld them in place… could even (with a bit more work) do my own repair sections, but thought about going on the website of the place where I bought the 90 from and they repair the doors for 100 quid each…

that's not too bad is it?
of course I can do it cheaper, but to save the hassle…not too bad? or is it expensive?

I could probably get it a bit cheaper seeing as I bought the 90 from them and the guy was really helpful and a nice chap.
by the look of the pics, they do a nice job too…

of course the paint on the outside would probably get burned in the process, but could always respray or put some black chequer plate..

as anyone done this kind of repairs?

My doors could do with some TLC. Id also be interested to know if anyone has used this garage, they seem a decent firm judging by there website?

just in the process of doing mine got some repair section from yrm metals and peeled back the outer skin cut out the bad bits and welded in the new bits bit of a fiddly job but not to bad if you got mig welder

looked on ebay..fokin expensive.

cheaper to get mine repaired.
its not bothering me though, i'll just leave it like it is, but maybe in the future will get them fixed or fix it myself.

was wondering if anyone had done this repair and if there was any repair kits available (metal already folded and ready to weld on)

Thanks JP, That is exactly the problem on my 90.

I think I might give these guys a call. I think that looks a pretty good repair job they have done for £100 each door. I have a pet welder but to be honest I'd probably end up paying him more for each door as I really don't like taking advantage of family. Knowing what my Dad is like he'd probably spend far too much of his time making em nice. I'll get my Dad to spray em though, he's very good!!

:D

Medusa, tell them the Portuguese chap that bought their Orange 90, told you about their work...

i dont know, they might take some money off... worth a try I suppose!
