hello, its my first time on this site, and my main reason for writing in is because im not sure whether im better off selling my 2003 disco xs or repairing it first. Although it runs fine it has a number of faults needing attention. Theres apparently about 1500pounds worth of work needed yo get it back to tip top condition....

The list goes like this, oil leak in steering box, excessive play on nearside steering ball joint, diesel leak on valve behind cylinder head, manifold loose (sheared bolts?) Replace fuel filter and drivers windw needs new regulator and seals...

ive done a few disco 2s and arm was easier and shaft wasnt damaged as often you find on the earlier ones which often made resealing them less permanent ,so worth a try ,which is why a mentioned it as replacing box, as often neessary on earlier models might often prove not necessary on disco 2:)
