Does anyone have a sure fire tool for getting the rear airbags out of the upper sockets? Mine are stuck fast despite doing the one side about 7-8 years ago. Last time I used a thick chisel but now it it flexes using the chisel and is not coming free.

Do you get any problems getting the front ones out as have never done a front bag?

Fronts were easy on both mine, rears were a pain. Lots of hammering and levering.

Once you've got them out, get yourself a wire brush for a drill and blast the crap out of each airbag socket and then spray some grease or even paint the seats 👍 I did use a bar on the tops under the body to push the buggers out😊

Pins were easy after I made a hook tool. Standard pry bar (largest in set) between chassis rail & spring top popped it out …….eventually!!

Then lots of wire brushing & de-rusting the mounts before new bags.
