Hi,
I'm just about to de-rust and treat the front half of the chassis (did the back last year), change some oils and stuff.

Looking at the air compressor, the casing looks shot and the airlines are torn. I've had springs fitted last year and it seems some of my offloading has torn the airlines (I wanted to keep everything in place in case I want to go back to air).

Is it ok to simply unbolt the compressor and remove? Pull out the air lines?

Cheers

I have a hawkeye and its a great tool and interesting to play around with. Cost me 250 quid and I reckon its paid for itself by avoiding having to go to a dealer for a fault diagnosis
