Hello.
I have Insa Turbo Ranger tyres on my D1 and they been on for over 12 months now.I am pretty pleased with them good in snow and mud and also general daily road use. However today been out on the motorway for the first time with them on (yeah go on i dont get out much etc ) and got wheel vibration typical of unbalanced tyres at about 65.My question is can you have remould tyres balanced. When i had them put on the rims the garage said you couldnt do it and to be honest didnt question them.

can be balanced however take more effort and its hard to get them spot on in some cases. i've had a few sets of retreads that been balanced, but also came up against people saying that they couldn't went to a van and truck tyre place in the end and they did it

I had same problem with my dakars, claimed they couldn't balance them so I just left it at that, doesn't vibrate too much unless you're going over 60

I got 90 overtaking my stepdad in his ford ranger, just to prove a point, I'll never go that fast again, thought it was gonna fall to bits

My mates Insas are surprisingly grippy, I think the softer conpound of the tyres helps grip in the dry, they're not even that bad in the wet but they wear pretty quick

Mine aren't too bad, I'd heard insa's have a bit if a bad rep for road driving but they've not let me down yet

Thanks for all the advice will try and find somewhere that will have go at balancing them.As stated earlier I find them pretty good I haven't found the wear to be bad so far. My only comment would be they seem to make the ride a little bumpier Dont know if this has owt to do with the actual tyre or the pressure I run them at,
